Rivaroxaban is an orally bioavailable oxazolidinone derivative and direct inhibitor of the coagulation factor Xa with anticoagulant activity. Rivaroxaban has been associated with a low rate of serum enzyme elevations during treatment and with rare instances of clinically apparent liver injury with jaundice.
